One of the reasons for doing this blog was basically to have a space that could always be accessed with files/images/recipes etc. Anna is on a cupcake mission and you can't help find stuff all over the 'net, so I am adding it here so she can come back to it whenever needed (and go to cupcake label at side to find all cupcake items).
This is from Martha Stewart website. There are so many designs and recipes on this site. The images are just a few of them. For recipes, go to: http://www.marthastewart.com/portal/site/mslo/menuitem.e28a2ad6d3341f8836eb9e2bd373a0a0?vgnextoid=42cacf380e1dd010VgnVCM1000005b09a00aRCRD&rsc=search_home&autonomy_kw=cupcakes&x=0&y=0

Louis's Football Thoughts said...

Anna, we made these for Amelie's christening and they looked so pretty and were yummy too. I also did them for Louis' birthday and changed the food colouring to blue and green for him (terrible but looked cute):

Little Almond Cakes with Rosewater Icing

1/2 cup SR flour sifted
3/4 cup almond meal
1/2 cup caster sugar
75g melted butter
2 tablespoons milk
1 egg
dried rosepetals to serve

Rosewater icing
2 cups icing sugar
2 and a half to 3 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon rosewater
1-2 drops pink food colouring

Preheat oven to 160 degrees C. Place flour, almond meal and sugar in a bowl and stir to combine. Add butter, milk, egg and stir to combine. Spoon mixture into two lightly greased 12 hold mini muffin tins. Bake for 10 mins or until cooked when tested with a skewer. Cool on wire racks.
For icing, combine all ingredients and stir until smooth. Drizzle over cakes and decorate with rose petals.
