As most of you know, we were very lucky to be invited to Deuce (dog) sit and house sit up in Rhinebeck recently.  The house belongs to the absolute nicest person ever and it's their weekend house.  It was just great and the dog, was terrific, very easy to look after, just hung with us, not feisty or too excitable. it was great.  anyway, finally some pictures.  More to follow,

Patonga

When we were back in Oz last November, we had a few days in Patonga at this house. House was just amazing. Not grand, big or fancy, but perfect for a weekender. Anyway, I took a lot of photos, but lost them all when my computer crashed. I came across a picture on a blog, and found more on the photographer's site. Enjoy!

Tropical Locations

I read about this travel site in the FT 'How to Spend it' mag, which I like a lot. Site is great. And, has some pretty good deals (still crazy expensive) to great places like Nepal, Maldives, India etc. I'm keeping it here so that one day, when we are feeling a bit fancy, we can check it out to book a great vaca. Oooh. I would like to be here right now. I found the image but cannot remember where it is from. I know that it is in Miami, and I think it might be a new, old hotel. Actually too hot to be in Miami right now, but I'll keep it here for winter time.

Mexico

We love Mexico, and adore Tulum. This is a different area but looks lovely. A bit fancier than where we usually stay. Keeping it here so it's easy to find if we want to go. Maybe for Nick's birthday next year. It's the billionnaire Jimmy Goldsmith's estate set on 25,000 acres.
