This looks rather nice, doesn't it. Needs some updating, but looks like a great, casual, fun house. Naturally, it's too expensive. But it's on the wish list. Some details.
Wonderful, classic Ulster County stone home! Original pre-Revolutionary War farmhouse possessing details of the era including massive beams, Dutch doors & hardware, enlarged in 1805 to create elegant, Federal style stone manor w/high ceilings, generously proportioned rooms, center hall, 5 fireplaces. Thickly screened from road in front by trees, house opens in back to bluestone patio & in-ground pool surrounded by 11+ private acres of gardens & woods accented by a lively stream. View shed across road.

love it love it love it. wish there were houses like this in australia more readily available. anything remotely like this is totally out of reach...would be wonderful to have this - we'd all be there all the time for holidays!
i know. how great it would it be. and nice and big for us all. but, too expensive, and i bet expensive to look after.
when i win the money i will buy one for us to share. we will come over on holidays and stay at the big rambling house together cx
ooh. that sounds lovely. we always talk about winning the money and don't even enter anything to win. nick gets a lottery ticket about 2 a year. and then we don't even check it. we could be richies already!
