I love this card. Caroline sent it to me in 2003 and I still laugh every time I see it. Doing a big clean up so it's being chucked, but least I will have it here when I need a chuckle.

So this is the picture I send to my sister Wendy and Meg at 27 weeks. Tragically they both believe me. Wendy rightly suggests I go check for gestational diabetes. By the way, this is a picture of the Octomom, I suspect at full term.

Blueberry-Oat Quick Breads

These are so easy to make. Blueberries in season over here, but would work just as well with frozen - or any other berry/fruit I would guess (nice with apple). Problem with making these kinds of things, is that I eat them all.

Lemon-Scented Pull-Apart Coffee Cake

Looks delicious. All I am eating at the moment is carbs, and loving the sweet stuff. Must try this, but will have to invite some people over to help me eat it, what with Nick not eating anything sweet.

These come from Donna Hay. Wendy got me onto these a while back. Haven't made them in ages, but it is blueberry season.

Chocolate Cake

I just want to make cakes and other yummy stuff at the moment. Nightmare is that Nick wont touch the sweet stuff so it means I eat it all. This recipe looks simple. Sweet Paul is a good little blog too. Don't need to check it daily, once a week or so is enough.

Bought for Baby

Trying not to buy too much, but Oeuf has some great stuff and I thought this was lovely. Am not going to go overboard on the pink, but this will be cute with baby in it.

Wendy said this came straight from the teachers - sheesh. (maybe it was daily, not dairy ? either way, a bit too 'hip' for my liking)

The Patriot Bar

We live in a pretty decent neighborhood, with nice restaurants, bars etc. BUT, there are also some dodgy ones. The sign is from a bar just one street and two blocks over. Of course, I've never been there. I imagine the barstaff get good tips!

And, Louis' first day at school

Dig the wheels - how fun to be able to scooter to school. Hat seems a better size than poor Pen's but as Wendy reminds me, the Qld sun is might hot.
