Love them too. Keep meaning to make them as a starter with yum butter sauce. anyway, i didn't know they flower. Pretty, right?

Pesto

Love it. having it on everything at the moment. Making a great salad with spinach leaves and white fish and a drizzle of pesto. Anyway, picture is of a cauliflower soup (just put florets in stocked water and then mix with immersion mixer). top with some Pesto. Yumbo

Tulum

So we are off to Tulum tomorrow for 5 days. can't wait. little shacks on the beach. really simple and devine water.
the picture is from the room we are staying in. It's not the place we ideally wanted but i think it will be pretty good.

New Purchases

So today we went to this really expensive furniture store near us and saw the Cherner chairs we love on sale as they were floor models. Nick got me the version with the arms for Xmas a few years back but today we picked up two of the side chairs. Aren't they yum. Mum used your money towards the purchase so we will think of you when we use them.

Me hi co!!!!

Just arrived in Mexico City after long flight from HK and change in LA. Hotel is lovely although I think I will just stay i the room tonight and explore a bit tomorrow. The area looks great too. I'm taking lots of photos which I will post when I get back but here is a picture of the hotel from the web. Yum, right?

Hong Kong

I'm in Hong Kong. Arrived early this morning after about 20 hrs. Staying at the lovely Mandarin Oriental. Taking lots of photos which i promise to post. Working this afternoon/evening and then tomorrow back on a plane to Mexico City. Two nights there - including my birthday - and then home again. It will be good not to travel for a while. Although it will be great to have all those airmiles. The picture is like the room i am staying in.

New Dress _ Marc Jacobs

So we have a wedding to go to in September and I got this dress for it. Looks better than in the picture. Bit of a sack but that's prob good for me. Thoughts?

Phoebe's Christening - Butterfly theme

Thought this was a cute idea. Nick and I are making the butterfly's now. We were thinking they would be great for the straws, like in the Martha article, but also you could have a vase of twigs and put them on those. Hope you like them, Wen & Paul.
